The Golden Hills Wind Farm is a proposed 400-megawatt (MW) wind farm currently under development near Wasco, Sherman County, Oregon. The project is situated along Highway 206 in the highlands above the Columbia River in the north-central part of the state and is ideal for wind farm development due to the world-class wind speeds in this area. The project area consists of mixed-use property predominantly in tracts of wheat fields.
